In this episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast, I welcome Shayne Wissler back to the show, to discuss the concepts laid out in his essay, “Against Anarchism.” Shayne explains why he believes it’s vital for advocates of individual liberty to work out differences in their philosophy, and describes the contradictions he sees with the anarchist viewpoint. Shayne and I delve into various concepts including secession, non-intervention, and how the formation of city-states and federations can remain consistent with the principles of individual rights. As always, stay tuned for my post-show rant, in what may be the most controversial episode yet!
UPDATE: This interview has sparked some discussion over at The Daily Paul. Shayne Wissler has responded to some of the criticisms over at his blog, For Individual Rights. I should note that the author is willing to continue to respond to constructive criticisms. If you have one, feel free to send it my way.

And if you missed it, check out Shayne’s first appearance on the Lions of Liberty Podcast from waaaay back in Episode 2, discussing “Reason and Liberty.”
