Surprised By Chris Christie's Fear of Freedom? You Shouldn't Be
NJ Governor, Chris Christie, announced his distaste for libertarianism, calling it "a very dangerous thought."But a look at the things he has done to NJ should make his comments make perfect sense:
- He unveiled sweeping gun control plans
- Proposed raising the minimum wage
- Announced a major Medicaid expansion
- Filed civil suits against "Price Gougers" during Hurricane Sandy
- Instituted price controls on gasoline during Hurricane Sandy, basic economics tells you will cause shortages (it did). He then began rationing gas by license plate number.
The list could be much longer, but you get the point: This is no friend of liberty; but the exact opposite.Libertarianism is his kryptonite.
