Lions of Liberty Rewind: The Rand Paul Whiskey Chat

It's been a tough week for your friendly neighborhood editor-in-chief. Despite an amazing weekend at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, it's been a series of bumps on the road this week both for wrestling fans and Lions of Liberty Podcast hosts - and I just so happen to be both!First, I witnessed the end of the Undertaker's 21 year Wrestlemania winning streak as he lost to Brock Lesnar, shocking wrestling fans all over the world. Especially this guy.Undertaker-lose-Lesnar-Wrestlemania-fan-reaction-1Then, a real-life, non-scripted tragedy occurred as I found out one of my childhood heroes, The Ultimate Warrior, had passed away, merely 2 days after I had seen him live and in person. If that weren't enough, in the same day I had a major plumbing issue in my house at the same time as technical difficulties arose preventing me from delivering an all-new episode of the Lions of Liberty Podcast. So yeah, it's been a rough few days!Since there is no new episode this week, I present to you a special Lions of Liberty Rewind, featuring our very first "Whiskey Chat' roundtable starring myself along with fellow Lions of Liberty founders Brian McWilliams and John Odermatt. This originally aired as part of Episode 8, back when I wouldn't think twice about putting out hour + long podcasts. We've gotten a lot of new listeners on board since then, so it seems like a good time to go back and revisit our very first Whiskey Chat, where we discussed a man who, despite his excellent voting record and last name, has become a controversial figure in libertarian circles. The man, of course, is a Kentucky Senator by the name of Rand Paul.We hope you enjoy, and welcome your feedback in the comments below or over on our Facebook page.Related articles on Rand Paul:Rand Paul Gets In Bed With The Military Industrial ComplexRand Paul: Splitting the DifferenceRand Paul Preaches “Peace Through Strength” & Militarism AbroadRand Paul Is Hurting Libertarianism More Than Helping ItRand Paul in an Awkward Situation in KentuckyThe Pre-Senate, Pre-Presidential Hopeful Rand PaulDoes Rand Paul Deserve the Benefit of the Doubt? And stay tuned, for next week we will return to our regularly scheduled programming with weekly podcasts, starting with:
