A Fictional Scenario

While perusing the DailyPaul, I happened across a quicklink to a Lions of Liberty article, titled Should I Be Defending Dinesh D'Souza?, written by my colleague Marc Clair.  To be honest, I'm not familiar with the D'Souza case, and so, I will not comment on it.  However, what piqued my interest was the fictional scenario put forward by Mr. Wissler, namely:

Consider a completely fictional scenario, where a country that was almost entirely corporatist, where by virtue of a tangled web of insidious laws, virtually all employees are effectively feudal serfs. Given this fictional context, consider a newly proposed law that would add a constraint to these quasi-governmental corporate entities, for example, requiring them to pay a minimum wage.

Just how fictional is this scenario?

• Country (media and government) controlled almost entirely by corporatists?  Check
• A nation of debt slaves that work paycheck-to-paycheck and, on top of that, dole out about 30% off the top in homage to the State god?  Check
• Proposals of higher minimum wages to placate the serfs?  Check
