Gary North breathed some new life into a magnificent speech given by Ron Paul on the House floor in 2002. I have seen it shared many times in recent days, and it's also on this weekend's edition of LewRockwell.com.How great for Dr. North to dig up a speech that the neocons would surely love everyone to forget.There is, however, a road that Dr. North did not take. He could have easily said "I told you so too" to draw attention to himself. The dream-spinners who sing of democracy in a stable Iraq have not had a clue from the beginning. Democracy is not going to be imposed on a Muslim country in the Middle East by Western military force.
