Today on Felony Friday Attorney Marisa Feil joins host John Odermatt. They discuss how Marisa has built a law practice that primarily helps individuals with a criminal record navigate the obstacles US citizens encounter when they attempt to visit Canada.  Marisa is an accomplished Attorney and entrepreneur who previously worked at a large Canadian immigration law firm. While working at the firm she grew passionate about helping US citizens with a criminal record who were unable to visit loved ones or conduct business in Canada. She left to cultivate her own flourishing practice, Foreign Worker Canada. Marisa explains that without her law practice many mainstream concert tours simply would not be able to visit Canada, because of the sheer number of individuals who have a criminal past.- Marisa shares the process that convicted felons would need to go through in order to visit Canada. One of the first things Marisa asks prospective clients is the nature of the crime. She will also need to know how much time has passed since the conviction and will need to know the sentence.
