Today fellow Lion of Liberty contributor "Rico" joined host John Odermatt to discuss some very important felonies trending in the news. Rico been a frequent guest on Libertarians in Living Rooms Drinking Liquor and on the extremely popular Presidential Debate Reaction shows. Rico holds the prestigious title of "official" legal counsel of the Lions of Liberty.Download this episode (right click and save)What we talked about on the show:- John and Rico discuss the heap of trouble that Chumlee, one of the stars of the hit reality TV show Pawn Stars, has found himself in after cops found meth, pot and an illegal gun in his home. The police were serving a warrant to investigate a sexual assault by Chumlee, legal name Austin Lee Russell, when they found the drugs. Rico pointed to the warrant as being the only hope for Chumlee to have a shot of getting off the hook in this case.- Next our felony analysts reviewed the case of a Chicago man, Dennis Nicholl, who allegedly took it upon himself to jam fellow commuters’ cell phone signals with a device he ordered from overseas. Nicholl apparently was annoyed by people talking on their cellphones on the train and found it a more reasonable solution to jam all the cellphones, rather than purchase a pair of noise cancelling headphones.- After John and Rico discussed Nancy Reagan's awful War on Drugs legacy, they played America's fastest growing podcast game show, "Is This a Crime and Should Anyone Do Time?" Today's two cases involved a man facing a felony menacing charge for answering the door with a gun and an IHOP waiter in Brooklyn who believes that pouring free drinks equates him to a modern day Robin Hood. For articles and more shows like this one please visit the Felony Friday Archive!Submit any questions, comments, suggestions, or ideas to felonyfriday@lionsofliberty.comThis show is not my soapbox, it is a vehicle to communicate and amplify the injustices rampant in the criminal justice system.
