On today's show, Marc welcomes back a guest who first appeared in the early days of the podcast, Shayne Wissler! Shayne is the author of two books about individual rights - "For Individual Rights" and "Reason and Liberty: The Foundation of Civilization", which was just released in it's 3rd edition. Shayne describes how his questioning of his religious upbringing eventually led him to question everything and delve deeper into philosophical justifications for individual rights, resulting in his two books on the subject. Shayne and Marc discuss concepts such as induction, the "is/ought gap", meaning, and so much more on this philosophical journey into the root concepts behind his justification for the concepts of individual rights.Download this episode (right click and save)
