What's So Dangerous About History?
In today's flagship Lions of Liberty podcast, Marc is joined by history professor and host of the Dangerous History podcast, CJ Kilmer! CJ breaks down how he took such an interest in history by not only becoming a history professor, but when that wasn't enough started an extensively detailed podcast breaking down the history that "the establishment doesn't want you to know."
Marc and CJ discuss CJ's philosophy when it comes to weaving historical narratives, and dig into some aspects of history from the libertarian perspective, including whether Woodrow Wilson is really the worst President as some tipsy Lions once postulated (spoiler: he is). They then dive into CJ's recent 28 hour (?!?!?!?!) project breaking down the American Civil War, looking at what mainstream history gets wrong about Abraham Lincoln and what many libertarians get wrong about the motivations of the South.
