Voices from Death Row with Michael Braxton aka Alim
My guest today on Felony Friday is Michael Braxton. He goes by the name Alim. He has been on Death row for 28 years and spent 7 of those years in solitary confinement. He was sentenced to death for killing another inmate at the Caledonia Correctional Center in Halifax, where he was already serving a life sentence for killing a man during a robbery in Raleigh.
He credits his faith for changing him as a man. In addition to being a co-author of the Crimson Letters: Voices From Death Row, he is also is a rapper and musician who produces music on Death Row.
