No Taxes? No Trial! New Bill Takes Away Freedom of Passage

The government seems to really be enthused with the hot new trend that has taken our country by storm: removal of freedoms without trial. Yes, it's truly sweeping the nation, what with the SOPA fun that they tried to pass, the NDAA and now Senate Bill 1813 (Highway trust fund), which has passed the Senate and currently resides in the House.Senate Bill 1813 includes within it language that basically states that anyone the government deems to owe more than $50,000 in back taxes will immediately have their privilege to enter or leave the country revoked and their passports suspended. This would happen before any trial occurred, meaning that an error in accounting at the always infallible IRS offices could result in a citizen being a prisoner in his or her own country while the issue is resolved. Obviously, with the incredible speed and efficiency that the government is known for, we can all rest assured though that any such matter would be handled in a week rather than say, months upon months of effort, possibly leading into a court of law. Oh, and here's a nice touch: there is no requirement in the bill that the tax payer be guilty of or even charged with tax evasion, fraud, or any criminal offense before the right to free passage is stripped away.Ron Paul famously stated in a debate last year, talking about Real ID cards and national IDs and border fences, that these measures would be used against Americans to "keep us in." (Video below) It seems as though the good doctor may have been right on the money as our leaders seek to impair our liberties and our freedom to come and go as we please through this type of aggressive legislation.Receive access to ALL of our EXCLUSIVE bonus audio content – including “Conspiracy Corner”, “Degenerate Gamblers” and the “League of Liberty Podcast” by joining the Lions of Liberty Pride and supporting us on Patreon!
