Mondays with Murray: How Did Rothbard Become a Libertarian?

There are many who believe humans are largely born libertarians; that we just "unlearn" the natural feelings of individual liberty through the various governmental, educational, and media institutions that gradually teach us otherwise from an early age.  Many that believe in the concept of natural rights would argue that we are indeed born free. As we look at the world around us however, we can see that the libertarian - one who understands and passionately advocates for the ideas of liberty - is a rare breed. It is the unique individual who can see through the propaganda and discern right from wrong. Luckily, the Internet has made it even easier to spread these ideas, and turn more people into libertarians. Or, return people to their natural state of liberty. So how did "Mr. Libertarian", Murray Rothbard, become a libertarian?Well strap yourselves in, kids, because he's here to tell about just that! In a 1981 talk at the 1981 National Libertarian Party Convention, Rothbard tells the whole tale.
